Job Summary
The Senior M365 Support Engineer will be part of a 24/7 English speaking support team and will be responsible for providing expert-level support and administration for Microsoft 365 (M365) services. You will collaborate closely with our clients and internal teams to resolve complex technical issues, implement best practices, and ensure the optimal performance of M365 environments. You will also manage the intake of cases and some light reporting may be required. You will also need effective communication skills and have a strong grasp of the English language.
Key Responsibilities
- Cover Case intake and communication with the customers submitting the case.
- Provide advanced support for Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to M365 applications and services.
- Administer and manage M365 tenant configurations, security settings, and compliance policies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions and best practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.
- Monitor system performance, perform regular health checks, and proactively address potential issues.
- Stay current with M365 updates, new features, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an M365 Support Engineer or similar role with Enterprise level clients
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Intune.
- Strong understanding of M365 security and compliance features.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for M365 administration and automation.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID, and identity management.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to manage complex technical issues.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Microsoft certifications such as MS-100, MS-101, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience working in Dynamics 365 as a user.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hybrid environments and migrations to M365.
- Knowledge of other Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Windows Server, and SQL Server, Power Apps.
- Experience with third-party M365 management and monitoring tools.
- Experience in a fast-paced support environment and dealing with complex issues and complex customer relationships.
- Experience working with Microsoft Support or for Microsoft
- Experience working at an MSP or other consulting firm.
- MS Certs: MS 365 Administrator Expert, End Point Administrator, Teams Administrator, SC100, SC300, AZ104, Power Platform fundamentals
